COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions, Answered.
What does Simandro do?
Simandro builds and manages a community's whole digital presence as one connected system: the website, the search and map listings, the content, and the measurement that shows it is working. The work does not stop at launch. It continues month by month, with one person responsible for it.
Who does Simandro work with?
Orthodox communities in the United States, and only those. Parishes, monasteries, shrines, Greek schools, ministries and Orthodox nonprofit organisations. Each one differs in scale, in governance and in capacity, and what gets built changes with them.
Can Simandro work with the website a community already has?
Usually yes. Most communities already have the pieces: a website, a listing on Google, a calendar, a page somewhere. They are simply not connected to each other. The Review starts from what exists, and rebuilding is a decision taken afterwards, with reasons, rather than assumed at the start.
Who owns the website, the domain and the accounts?
The community does, from the first day. The domain, the hosting, the website, the analytics and the profiles are all in the community's name. Simandro works through them, never around them, and everything the work produces belongs to the community as it is made.
What happens if the partnership ends?
Everything stays where it is and keeps working. There is nothing to hand back, because nothing was ever taken. The community keeps its domain, its accounts, its content and its data, exactly as it did while the work was going on.
Does a community need someone technical?
No. What a community provides is one point of contact: a single person who can answer a question, approve a decision and say what is happening this month. Not a committee, not a working group. One person, and that person does not need to understand any of the technical work.
Does Simandro write a community's announcements and news?
No. A community writes what it has to say, in its own voice. Simandro organises it, structures it and publishes it where it can be found. The words belong to the community. The shape and the reach are Simandro's work.
How does a partnership begin?
With a Review. Simandro looks at the website, the search results, the map listings and the AI visibility as they stand today, writes a summary of what exists and what matters most, and talks it through. A reply usually follows within two business days. The Review costs nothing and creates no obligation.
